Restored Cache
Iterating on "Bad Cache", "Restored Cache" is a generative series of artworks that involve the collector. The artworks are created with a feedback loop initiated from the outputs of Bad Cache. The program makes ten attempts to recreate the original tokens; each iteration is fed back into the program to create a new output.
Whoever purchases the token is presented with a choice. Now that the data has been restored, what data would they like to keep? The artwork purchase price is a function of the amount of data stored. In total, the program generated 1100 artworks; 1000 works will be destroyed and only 100 will be kept.
